SCREW CONVEYOR B-PS

Screw conveyors type B-PS manufactured by BEGERMAN are designed to transport bulk, dry, wet and thick materials, crushed abrasive materials and components containing fibres forming so-called "braids", etc. They are widely used in the water and wastewater industry to transport sediment, sand, screenings, powders etc. Types of screw conveyors:

B-PS/B   - shaftless screw conveyor.
B-PS/W   - shafted screw conveyor.
B-PS/R   - screw conveyor in a closed circular (tube) trough.

Description and principle of operation:
The main element of the whole device is a special screw installed in a trough. By transferring the rotation from the geared motor, the screw by turning conveys the material located inside the trough, moving it in the desired direction. The conveyed material is emptied at any point of the conveyor or at its end. This is possible thanks to the installation of automatic valves on the conveyor, which release the load after opening.

The screw is separated from the trough with a bearing, which can be in the form of a strip/rail, plastic liner or in the case of shafted conveyors, two-sided bearings on pins. This ensures a long life and low operating costs (periodic replacement of bearings).

The conveyors have an encapsulated - sealed enclosure which prevents the escape of moisture, dust, odour, etc. The screw with a cross-section and appropriate profile geometry selected for the given application allows the use of very long conveyors. Installation is possible in any position: horizontal, vertical, diagonal.
